Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin B complex is made up of eight different vitamins. Vitamin B complex supports physical and mental processes of the body. This will keep the body healthy and properly working. The important vitamins included in the vitamin B complex are vitamin B1 called as the thiamine, vitamin B2 known as riboflavin, vitamin B3 called as niacin, vitamin B6 or pyridoxine, vitamin B9 also known as folic acid, vitamin B12 known as cyanocobalamin, biotin and pantothenic.
All these vitamins are necessary in the body to convert food in to energy, breaking down fats and proteins, which are necessary for efficient working of the nervous system. Adequate amount of the vitamin B complex supports oral health, keeps skin healthy, well hair growth, healthy eyes and muscle toning. One will be helpful in curing the problems related to the memory.
Therefore, vitamin B complex deficiency will lead to many problems such as beriberi. Lack of vitamin B complex can be detected from the symptoms of anemia, muscular weakness, and leg spasms. Vitamin B complex can cause atrophy of muscles and paralysis. Not only this one can face the physical problems which may be due to lack in physical coordination, light sensitivity, and open sores on internal or external part of the mouth, sensitive teeth, swollen tongue, diarrhea, lesion of skin. One may face the serious problem of nervous system as well as the brain damage.
Therefore, to avoid all such problems one needs to include the rich source of vitamin B complex in the diet. Meat, beans, peas, bread, cereals, poultry, eggs are the abundant source of the vitamin B complex. Therefore, one needs to include such food items regularly in the diet. Particularly the vegan vegetarians need to include vitamin B complex in the body. They may include such food items or they may make use of the vitamin pills to support the daily diet.
Almost all the vitamin B supplements are safe enough to include in the regular diet. If regular food is not well sufficient to provide such vitamin in the body then they make use of the vitamin pills to support the diet.
