Women are becoming more knowledgeable about erectile dysfunction. It is becoming more acceptable to talk about the issue and to seek answers outside of the bedroom. The emotions and blame game associated with erectile dysfunction can have a devastating affect on the relationship, keeping your cool, gathering information and keeping the lines of communication open are key factors to staying connected to your man.

Summary:
Perhaps the most relevant news to those who are directly impacted by erectile dysfunction is that the topic is no longer tabu. Men are becoming more knowledgeable about ED. They understand that the majority of the cases of ED are caused by physical issues (disease, damage due to injury or surgery, or deformity); only a small percentage of cases are due to emotional/psychological causes.
Women are recognized as having a stake in erectile dysfunction and are now seen as a part of the solution. Communication is the key to bringing the man to the point where he can open up about his feeling and his thoughts about his problem. Only after acknowledging his problem and confessing a willingness to find answers can progress be made. Both partners are united toward finding a cause and thus a treatment for ED.
There are options when it comes to treatment. Choice of treatment will depend not only on the cause but also on the severity of the dysfunction. Treatment will be guided by a medical professional that understands the medical ramifications of combined medications for any other medical disease or condition the man may have.
