Stress Relievers
Everyone needs stress relievers. Stress is a fact of life so you better know what stress relievers work for you and be prepared. stress relievers are great because you can be prepared to relieve your stress whenever and wherever necessary. Stress relievers don't have to be big or expensive or time consuming, but they certainly can if you can afford these kinds of stress relievers and if you can't, maybe that's why you're feeling stressed. There are many types and kinds of stress relievers available. One of the most traditional stress reliever is the vacation.
If you can schedule it and afford it, two weeks off from your job is one of the best stress relievers. As far as stress relievers go, this one probably tops the list in long lasting value. But as far as stress relievers go, this one also tops the list in time required and can be pretty darned expensive too. In order for vacations to truly be stress relievers, you need to schedule two weeks in a row. If you are really stressed at work and in a high pressure job, it takes two weeks off to really get the full benefits from these stress relievers.
The first few days are spent just getting used to not being under constant stress and then you settle in and begin to get the real stress relief value of a vacation and then by the end of the two weeks off, you are really ready to get back to work. With vacation stress relievers, you can get some really long lasting stress relief. the lasting benefits of two week vacations as stress relievers are there. You can come back to work fully rested and recharged. After stress relievers like this, you are pretty much healed up from all the stress that went before and so now you can re-engage in your work with new energy and passion.
Vacations are great stress relievers. But of course, every time you feel stress at work, you can't take a two week vacation. There are plenty of other stress relievers that work and don't cost as much in terms of time and money. A great stress reliever at work is the mini vacation. You can take a mini vacation anytime of the day and you can do it right at your desk. When you need stress relief, just close your eyes for a few moments and picture a beautiful relaxing place. Pick a acene you really find restful and picture it. Then picture yourself in the picture. These stress relievers work very well if you really concentrate and feel what it would be like to be there and let yourself feel the flood or relaxation that comes over you. Then you just take a deep breath and open your eyes and get back to work. These stress relievers can really work if you give them a chance.
