Stress On The Environment

Everything man does causes stress on the environment. Our homes cause v. Our cars cause stress on the environment. Our cities cause stress on the environment. OUr factories cause stress on the environment. The way we work causes stress on the environment. The way we play causes stress on the environment. The way we feed ourselves causes stress on the environment. Everything we think, do, and say causes stress on the environment.

Certainly, the environment can handle a fair amount of stress. But the excessive stress on the environment that man is causing with over population and the environmental pollution that goes with it may be too much stress on the environment. It may be more stress on the environment than the environment can handle. Some stress on the environment is inevitable, but if man causes too much stress on the environment, the the environment may change and become hostile to man.

Once too much stress on the environment causes cataclysmic changes, the environment may no longer support life by man. The global warming that we are seeing is the beginning of a drastic process that has bee caused by too much stress on the environment by man and his activities. Instead of seeing himself as part of the environment, man, by and large has seen himself as master of the environment. this mistaken attitude has led man to do many things that have put too much stress on the environment. Instead of working with the environment, man has tried to conquer the environment and this has led to to much stress on the environment.

The environment is self healing. given enough time and freedom, the environment will heal itself from manmade stress on the environment, but where does that leave man? Out in the cold? No. Out in the heat. Literally. And under water. Literally. When the environment reacts to the stress man has put on it, it may not leave much room for man to continue to live in this environment. too much stress on the environment may cost man his home here on Earth.

but can man make a home for himself anywhere else without causing too much stress on the environment? Not if he has not learned his lesson here on Earth about too much stress on the environment. Man will just go somewhere else and do the same thing and cause too much stress on the environment and destroy another planet. wouldn't it be better for man to make peace with the Earth and do everything he can and must to reverse the damage he has done by putting too much stress on the environment?
