Stress is a fact of life so we all need to learn about managing stress. Managing stress correctly requires some training and practice. Managing stress is not a matter of never feeling stress. Rather managing stress is using certain strategies and tactics to live successfully with stress. One great way of managing stress is to prepare for it. This way of managing stress accepts the inevitability of it, but lessens its impact on you. If mornings are always stressful, then prepare to deal with that stress. First figure out why mornings are always stressful. Maybe getting the kids to school and yourself off to work creates a lot of stress because there is never enough time.

Well, you can start managing stress by giving yourself more time in the morning. Managing stress may be worth getting up a little earlier in the morning so mornings are more laid back and pleasant and less hectic and stressful. Managing stress isn’t just about dealing with the stress at the time and your reaction to it, although working in that arena can help with managing stress. Managing stress requires planning and forethought. This way, you are actively managing stress and being proactive. A lot of managing stress is about not setting yourself up for stress and planning can become a very effective tool for managing stress.

If you can prepare for stress and mitigate it before it happens, then you can go a long way towards managing stress. There are so many areas of our lives that we allow to be set-ups for stress and its negative consequences. But with a little planning, a lot of these situations can have a much different feel and this way we will be v by sometimes preventing it all together and by most times, at least, lessening its impact on us by preparing in advance for stress so we are at the very least, not caught off guard by stress and thrown into panic mode.

This is managing stress. If the same situation keeps coming up in your life and throwing you into stress panic mode, well maybe it is time to sit down and look at why that is. This method for managing stress means taking a good hard look at what you are doing and why and deciding if there is some way to avoid or at least lesson the stress caused by the situation. Managing stress can be as simple as a little planning and a little mental and physical preparation.
