The major source of addition to the cholesterol levels in our body is through our diet. It's not always what we eat adds to the cholesterol level but it is also sometimes how we prepare our food. The way we prepare our food also affects the cholesterol level in our body. So if we keep a check in the method of preparation of our food then we can substantially reduce the cholesterol levels in our body without the tension of taking any drugs or doing any exercises. But it is first very important to understand the proper cooking habits. One may blindly conclude that a food in which there is no cholesterol level will be the only choice. But it is not always because cholesterol is also helpful for our body. So rather trying to deplete it from our body we must try to prevent the increase in its level.

COOKING PROPERLY

Many of us might think that preparing food in such a way that does not include any cholesterol containing products will be beneficial and will be the best option for reducing cholesterol level. In fact one might think that if one stops intake of fats then he won't have cholesterol at all. But the fact is somewhat else. Actually though cholesterol is absorbed by our body through food but our liver also produces cholesterol. So stopping intake of fats won't help much. In fact lack of fatty acids, which are helpful in lowering cholesterol, will add to our problem.

So we must incorporate certain proper cooking habits, which will help us in reducing cholesterol.

We can supplement out diet to lower cholesterol with a tablespoon of organic flax seed oil everyday, which is an excellent source of Omega3 essential fatty acids. These fatty acids will not make you fat rather it would lose your weight and reduce cholesterol level. For cooking use only 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil'. It helps in lowering LDL cholesterol and increasing HDL cholesterol.

Also use as much garlic in cooking as you can because it is a very effective agent in reducing cholesterol.

CONCLUSION

So we can see that just by incorporating certain proper cooking habits we can reduce the level of cholesterol and can also prohibit the increase of it.
