In The Motherhood

When a woman conceives and goes through the process of carrying the child for a full term, she undergoes various mixed feelings through out the journey. Feelings like fear, love, pride of being able to become a mother etc., sends feelings of warmth all over her body setting off reactions. She actually is so happy to have become a mother. Being a mother has given her the feeling that now she has finally become a complete woman.

The process of Motherhood starts the moment a woman conceives and it is a never ending process as once she becomes a mother than she is s always a mother. Motherhood is one long journey from conception of a child till the very death of the mother.

At the time of birth of a child the mother feels both pain and pleasure. Though she may be suffering from agonizing pain which certainly cannot be described but only experienced, the moment the child is born all the pain she had experienced earlier simply vanishes at the very sight of her child. She has finally become a mother. That feeling of motherhood gives her the joy that nothing else in the world can give her. A sense of satisfaction of having achieved something in life.

At childbirth pain and pleasure work in unison to transform a woman into a mother. This is a miracle of child birth. Till the birth of the child she has no feelings of being a mother yet but the very moment after the birth of the baby the motherly instinct is alive and kicking. She feels that she has been completely transformed in a split second.

In Motherhood the woman feels she has become devoted to her child looking after all the needs of the baby. The needs of the baby are only top priority to her and she has no other thoughts other than that of how to best take care of her child.

In motherhood selfless love and devotion towards the child are born and this grows and expands. There is no cunning selfish motive attached to motherhood. She just loves to take care of her child because she finds it gives her tremendous satisfaction in doing so. It is the unconditional love that she shows toward her child that stands out in motherhood. She is now a complete woman in motherhood.
