Mothers protect their children from impending dangers. It is very natural for a mother to protect her child in the event of any calamity.

Motherhood means tremendous love and affection. Unconditional love is associated with motherhood as the mother never expects anything from her children while she shows her love. Mothers use baby talk and gentle caresses when they handle their babies. Motherhood is synonymous with gentle care and affection.

Motherhood is characterized by the noble quality of sacrifice. Mothers are known to have given up promising careers to take care of their children and also to have saved for their college education. In motherhood it is the child who is the most important person in the life of a mother.
