The effects of stress vary according to the type and duration of the stress. the effects of stress also vary according to the individual involved. The effects of stress usually vary according to the severity of the stress involved as most people will feel the effects of stress on a graduating scale according to how serious the situation is. The effects of stress can vary from mild to severe. A lot of the variation in the effects of stress depend upon severity and duration of the stress. Usually short term stress doesn't have the profound and lasting negative effects that long term chronic stress has on a person's mental and physical condition.

The effects of stress that is chronic can be quite debilitating and the effects of stress can even be life threatening. One of the most dangerous effects of stress is depression. Depression can happen as an effect of stress if the stress is chronic and the person feeling the effects of stress experiences burnout due to the constant and unrelenting nature of the stress which they are under. All of the effects of depression can, in this case, be considered the effects of stress. Depression can have a devastating effect on a person's life and so as far as effects of stress, it ranks pretty high in seriousness.

Other effects of stress can be any and all forms of compulsive behavior. Most of these compulsive behaviors can have very negative effects on a person's health so the effects of stress can include headaches, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, liver disease, kidney problems, IBS, lung cancer, skin disorders and a whole host of psychological effects. Some of these effects of stress are anxiety, fear, panic attacks, depression, anger, sleeplessness, eating disorders and even suicide.

The hopelessness and isolation a depressed person feels due to the effects of stress can lead to some pretty extreme behaviors and to long term negative health consequences, and even death by suicide. And even if the effects of stress don't lead to depression and suicide, the effects of stress can be pretty bad for a person physically. High blood pressure, if left untreated and uncontrolled can lead to some very negative, long term side effects of the effects of stress.

If the effects of stress are left unchecked and untreated, the physical health of a sufferer of the effects of stress can be seriously damaged. The physical and psychological effects of stress can be quite dramatic and unpleasant.
