Do Housework Yourself
It is a common misconception people have about exercises. They feel that only visiting gyms, practicing yoga, reducing their diet and such other ways would ensure that their weight reduces and their cholesterol levels remain in control. However, people would be surprised to know how much simple daily chores can help to reduce excess cholesterol levels. In fact, it can also be safely said that if an individual is doing all the domestic chores on his own, he does not need any other form of exercise to reduce cholesterol.
Domestic Help
Today almost all domestic work is done with the help of automatic machines and appliances. This has made people become lethargic and fail to do any physical work themselves. Hence, the body becomes very sluggish and prone to disorders. This is especially harmful for people who have excess body weight and high levels of cholesterol. Obese individuals and those having excess body weight require regular, moderate to intense physical activities to burn down the excess fats. There are people who cannot conduct regular exercises daily and do not have the time to venture out in the gym can reduce the excess body weight by doing the house work daily. Housework involves the individuals to stand, bend, kneel down and do many such activities while they work. This is when the excess fats get burned down and the cholesterol levels in the body remain at the bare minimum level.
House work involves cleaning, cooking, gardening and many other chores. Instead of using the dishwashers daily individuals can wash the dishes and the utensils manually. Only if there are guests coming over or the number of soiled dishes and utensils is too high only then can they use the machine. This way their arms get the necessary exercise. Instead of using the vacuum cleaner, individuals can use the broom and the mop for cleaning the house. This is a very difficult work and is sure to burn huge amounts of calories in a single day. As the individual bends to clean or mop up the floor, there is pressure built on the body that omits excess fats in the form of perspiration.
Hence, depending solely on the machines would not be the correct way, especially for obese people and for those having a high level of cholesterol.
