Vitamin deficiency causes diabetes in many people. Therefore, these people need certain vitamins in their daily food. Lack of proper food will cause the vitamin deficiency resulting into severe forms of diabetes. Therefore getting required vitamins is big necessity of the diabetic patients.

Diabetic sufferers should try to include the food that gives the relevant does of vitamins. Vitamins needed to the diabetic patients are vitamin C, E, B6, B12, and other optimum vitamins. Optimum vitamins are scientifically formulated for the diabetic patients who will help the body to maintain its natural level of vitamins that has been lowered because of the diabetes.

People suffering with type 1 diabetes have the lower level of vitamin C. adequate amount of the vitamin C will help in decreasing the sorbitol level in the body. Sorbitol is the sugar that affects the eye, nerves, kidney of diabetics by accumulating inside the body. To reduce this level vitamin C is necessary.

To improve the insulin activity inside the body vitamin E is highly necessary for the diabetic patients.

In women, glucose level generally decreases and for this purpose intake of vitamin B6 is necessary. Vitamin B6 will improve the vitamin level in the women suffering with diabetes.

Vitamin B12 is necessary for the proper and normal functioning of the nerve cells. Therefore, diabetics try to include adequate amount of vitamin through the diet.

Biotin is the form of vitamin B that is necessary to process the glucose in the diabetes. This is also helpful in reducing diabetic nerves damage.

All these are the essential vitamins in the diabetic patient but along with these vitamins, other vitamins are also necessary for the patients of diabetes. These vitamins are carnitine, Taurine and inositol. All these are the required vitamins in the day-to-day life of the patients suffering with diabetes. Therefore patient of diabetes tries to fulfill there required amount of vitamins through daily diet.

To fulfill the desired requirement of vitamins; diet must be rich in vitamins. Regular intake of vitamin-enriched diet will help to increase the vitamin level inside the body and keep artificial vitamin supplements away.
