Deficiency Symptoms Of Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, K
For the proper growth of the body as well as for the well functioning of the body vitamins are necessary. One has to intake the vitamins externally as our body is unable to produce vitamin by itself. Good source of the vitamin is the daily food. Abundant amount of the vitamins can get from the proper diet. However, if this diet is not providing the proper amount of vitamins then one supplement the food with vitamin tablets. If pills are not supplemented then person will be vitamin deficient and may face many diseases.
Deficiency of vitamin A can cause the disease of night blindness. Almost poor part of the world faces such disease. To overcome the problem of night blindness sufficient amount of vitamin A is necessary. Sources of vitamin A are fish, liver, and green vegetable.
Vitamin B deficiency will cause diseases like megaloblastic anemia. In the case of anemia, one may experience hallucination, memory loss, and eye disorder. Moreover, if anemia becomes severe then it may damage nerves, liver and intestines. Deficiency of vitamin B12 can reduce by intake of meat, milk, milk products.
Peoples deficient in vitamin C can suffer from infections, immunology, as well as cancer. Vitamin C deficiency can also cause anemia, bleeding gums, muscle degeneration and blood clots. Therefore, one can prefer green vegetables, berries, and citrus fruits.
Lack of vitamin D can affect bones, hearts, kidneys and thyroid glands. In this deficiency common symptoms are irregular heartbeats, osteoporosis, frail and flimsy bones. Therefore, people have to expose themselves to sun light. This will also improve the immune system of the body.
Deficiency in vitamin E can cause enlargement of prostate glands, gastrointestinal disease, impotency as well as decreased circulations. Deficiency will also lead to cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
Bone formation and blood clotting can be done in presence of vitamin K. this vitamin converts glucose in to the glycogen to store in the liver. Therefore, vitamin K is necessary in the body as lack of vitamin K gives rise to decrease in platelet count, and poor blood clotting.
Therefore, to overcome all these diseases one has to try for adding adequate amount of vitamins in daily diet.
