Assist Technology For Heart Stroke Patient
Electrocardiogram
The purpose of this technique is to detect ischemia or acute coronary injury in broad. It is a symptomatic emergency. However this technique has several limitations. An ECG represents brief sample of time because the syndromes are changing quickly, so from ECG it is not possible to track full symptoms of heart stroke, Therefore it is necessary to obtain ECGs particularly if the first ECG is obtaining while patient is pain free (chest pain). There are several emergency departments and chest pain centers are capable of monitors ST segment continuously.
Angiography
In some difficult cases where it requires an intervention to restore blood flow to appropriate coronary in this case angiography is performed. In this technique a catheter is inserted in to artery which is also called femoral artery and it pushes the vessels for supplying blood to the heart. This technique is based on finding narrowed arteries, and angiography is performed as therapeutic measurement this is technique required in emergency and may not always available. It is commonly performed by interventional cardiologists.
Histopathological Examination
Histopathological Examination of the heart may reveal information about infection during autopsy. Under microscope a myocardial infarction which represents area of ischemic coagulative necrosis (also called cell death). Overall we can conclude that infarct may not identifiable with in twelve hours.
Emergency Services
Emergency Medical Services are now able to give services to patients those suffering from myocardial infections. Some of these emergency services provide first aid and early defibrillation. Some emergency techniques may include trained personnel with sophisticated technology and advanced protocols. Most of the emergency systems are able to provide oxygen services. Some are capable of providing thrombolytic therapy before patient admitted in the hospital.
Some of the technique may include EMS -can play a major role in reducing ” door to balloon intervals” it is a time when patient is presented to the hospital ER and to the restoration of coronary artery blood flow, is performed by 12 lead ECG in field. And by using this information doctor can give patient most appropriate facility.
In addition to the 12 lead ECG that can be transmitted to the receiving hospital, which enable to take time-saving measurements before the patient’s arrival.
